Wolyeonggyo Bridge
Wolyeonggyo Bridge takes its name from the nearby Wolyeongdae, which was relocated here due to the dam's construction, along with references to local place names like Wolgok-myeon and Eumdal-gol. The bridge was designed not only to complement the scenic landscape where the Nakdonggang River meets the mountains but also to commemorate the beautiful and noble love story of Lee Eung-tae and his wife. The shape of the bridge is inspired by the 'mituri' (hemp shoes) woven from the wife's hair in memory of her late husband. Featured as a filming location for the variety show 'I Am Solo,' the bridge offers a romantic atmosphere at night. Visitors can enjoy a stroll under the moonlight or take a moon-shaped 'Moon Boat' to admire the scenic view from the water.
