National Baekdudaegan Arboretum
Located in Chunyang-myeon, Bonghwa-gun, the National Baekdudaegan Arboretum is the largest of its kind in Asia. It preserves diverse plant species and features the iconic Baekdudaegan mountain tiger, as well as the Seed Vault—the world's first permanent storage facility for wild plant seeds. The Baekdudaegan mountain range is a critical ecological axis home to 33% of Korea's native plants. The arboretum is dedicated to conserving biodiversity and fostering a harmonious relationship between nature and humanity through research and regional development.
