Jinju National Museum
Opened in 1984 as Korea's seventh national museum, it is located within Jinjuseong Fortress, a historic site and major battlefield of the Imjin War. The building, designed by renowned architect Kim Swoo-geun, is modeled after traditional Korean wooden pagodas. Originally established to focus on Gaya culture, the museum was reorganized in 1998 to specialize in the history of the Imjin War, housing a significant collection of artifacts and conducting research to shed light on the international conflict.
