Seorak Cable Car
The Seorak Cable Car is the easiest way to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Seoraksan Mountain. Located within the Seoraksan National Park Sogongwon area, it reaches Gwongeumseong Fortress at an altitude of 700m in just 10 minutes. Round-trip tickets are required. During the ride, you can see famous spots like Ulsanbawi Rock and Manmulsang. Once at the summit, you are treated to a panoramic view of the majestic mountains. Gwongeumseong Fortress, steeped in legends of the Goryeo Dynasty, now features historic ruins. From the top, you can see all of Outer Seorak, including the Anrakam Hermitage and the ancient Muhaksong pine tree. It is recommended to plan ahead for waiting times during weekends, holidays, and the autumn foliage season.
