Jeju Mokgwana Government Office
Once the center of administration and culture in Jeju during the Joseon Dynasty, this site has housed government facilities since the Tamna Kingdom era. Though destroyed by fire in 1434 and later dismantled during the Japanese colonial period, the site underwent extensive archaeological excavations from 1991 to 1998. Based on historical documents like the Tamna Sunryeokdo, the government office was fully restored in 2002 and is now a designated National Historic Site.
