Seoul Forest

Originally established as Seoul's first water reservoir in 1908, Seoul Forest was reopened in 2005 as a large-scale urban park in the Ttukseom area. It currently features four distinct zones—a culture and arts park, an educational center, an ecological forest, and a wetland garden—offering a variety of leisure spaces along the Han River. Notably, it is the first park in Seoul to be created and operated entirely through citizen participation.
