Goryeong Daegaya Tumuli
Goryeong Jisan-dong Tumuli is a historic site featuring over 700 tombs, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2023. Dating back to the 4th–6th century, these tombs of the Daegaya ruling class include stone-cist and stone-chamber structures. Notable finds include the Jisan-dong No. 44 and 45 tombs, which are the first discovered sacrificial tombs in Korea. Visitors can explore the Daegaya Museum and Royal Tomb Exhibition Hall to see artifacts like gold crowns and pottery, and view the Jisan-dong No. 30 tomb.
