Wonju Yongsu-gol Poppy Festival

Originating from local passion, this festival in Wonju, Gangwon-do, grew from a small field in 2005 to a major community-led event. Featuring 43 flower species across 13,000 pyeong, it is celebrated as a 'Star Village' and remains a unique, resident-organized village festival.
